If you are seeking out a unique, beautiful and custom funeral program, then you’ve popped into the right place. Hi! I’m Becca and I am here to take a load off your plate and create your one-page, two-page or even 8=page custom funeral program for you.

I wanted to begin with this, a devotional written by Charles Spurgeon that I found particularly inspiring and interesting as time marches on and we see so much changing right before our eyes. In fact, I  can clearly state that life is fleeting (at an increasing rate) and there has never been a better time than the now to “set your house in order” as this year comes to a close.

“This month of April is said to derive its name from the Latin verb aperio, which signifies to open, because all the buds and blossoms are now opening, and we have arrived at the gates of the flowery year. Reader, if you are yet unsaved, may your heart, in accord with the universal awakening of nature, be opened to receive the Lord. Every blossoming flower warns you that it is time to seek the Lord; be not out of tune with nature, but let your heart bud and bloom with holy desires. Do you tell me that the warm blood of youth leaps in your veins? then, I entreat you, give your vigour to the Lord. It was my unspeakable happiness to be called in early youth, and I could fain praise the Lord every day for it. Salvation is priceless, let it come when it may, but oh! an early salvation has a double value in it. Young men and maidens, since you may perish ere you reach your prime, “It is time to seek the Lord.” Ye who feel the first signs of decay, quicken your pace: that hollow cough, that hectic flush, are warnings which you must not trifle with; with you it is indeed time to seek the Lord. Did I observe a little grey mingled with your once luxurious tresses? Years are stealing on apace, and death is drawing nearer by hasty marches, let each return of spring arouse you to set your house in order. Dear reader, if you are now advanced in life, let me entreat and implore you to delay no longer. There is a day of grace for you now–be thankful for that, but it is a limited season and grows shorter every time that clock ticks. Here in this silent chamber, on this first night of another month, I speak to you as best I can by paper and ink, and from my inmost soul, as God’s servant, I lay before you this warning, “It is time to seek the Lord.” Slight not that work, it may be your last call from destruction, the final syllable from the lip of grace.”

—Charles Spurgeon, Morning and Evening April 1st

What is a funeral program?

A funeral program shares important information about your loved one and can include basic funeral service information. Funeral programs are also a great way to share memories and life details about your loved one with those who matter most.

Do I have to learn new software to create a custom funeral program?

Nope. Although I know some shops offer links for a client to work solo; I’d prefer to gather the pertinent information from you and place it into the program myself. The last thing you need to worry about is centering fonts or paragraphs and fiddling with a new software.

Why Create a Funeral Program?

When someone passes away, there are many things you may wish to share about them, including what made them special, who they loved, and what they enjoyed. In addition, you may want to acknowledge those people who helped to make your loved one’s last days better, either with care or with love. You may want to offer something tangible that those who attend the funeral can take with them when they leave. Funeral programs can accomplish all of these things.

What should you include in a custom funeral program?

Again, that is your call.

You might prefer something simple or you and your family might like something all-inclusive.

Here are some elements that you might want to consider for your custom funeral program:

1. A Picture of Your Loved One

2. Basic Details

3. Obituary

4. Schedule of Events

5. A Poem or Bible verse

6. Acknowledgments

7. Donation Information
